These images are from the Bohon's Company 1915 catalog in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Buggies were used for all general horse driven transportation in the United States. The mainstay features stated that they were full wrought, straight grained, second growth hickory buggies. Many different variations of the base model were available and could be customized.
