Bethlehem Holy Land Olive Wood

Bethlehem Olive Wood comes from the Holy city of Bethlehem, the city of Jesus' birth and cradle of Peace.  The Olive three is the Holiest Tree in the Holy Land.  The wood of Bethlehem's sacred olive Trees is also called Roman trees, they got their Roman name because they have been living in Bethlehem and bearing fruits since the time of Jesus and the Romans.

Bethlehem olive wood is a local raw material from which mainly religious, historical, and artistic articles are made, using the prunes of young olive trees, and the sprouts from the trunks of the old, unproductive trees an essential process for a healthier growth for the trees and to generate environmental stability.  NO TREE WAS DAMAGED OR DESTROYED IN THE PROCESS OF HARVESTING THE WOOD.

Bethlehem olive wood is heavy, dense and durable with distinctive colors that range in tones of red and creamy pigments with irregular gray, brown, and wild black lines.

Bethlehem olive wood have a varying and smooth grain, making every piece extraordinarily unique. It is very difficult to match the grain of two pieces since the pattern is completely hidden in the heart of the wood. Bethlehem olive wood is heavy, dense and durable with a distinctive red pigment in its grain.
